Platter – Small
This wheel-thrown stoneware platter is glazed on the inside with a Temoku glaze. The rim and the underside of the platter are bare clay, which allows the flame to make its mark during the firing process.
This one-of-a-kind platter has been fired to Cone 10 (2350℉) in the wood kiln at Chester Springs Studio in Historic Yellow Springs. This platter was fired upside down, stacked on top of another platter, which creates the unique circles around the rim.
The platter is 10.75” wide.
