This wheel-thrown stoneware plate is glazed in the center with a dark brown glaze, which shows subtle hints of blue. The rich glaze color of the rim and underside of the glaze are a beautiful contrast.
This one-of-a-kind plate has been fired to Cone 10 (2350℉) in the wood kiln at Chester Springs Studio in Historic Yellow Springs.
The plate is 9.5″ wide.
